This is a note from Andrew Rice, who is running against Jim Inhofe in Oklahoma’s U.S. Senate race:
We’re close to breaking this race open and Jim Inhofe knows it. It’s only two weeks from Election Day, and all of our hard work is paying off. Voters are making their final decisions and we need to reach as many of them as possible.
That’s why I need your urgent contribution in the next 7 hours.
My campaign needs an additional $3,870 before midnight tonight to use every available outlet to reach Oklahoma voters over these final two weeks. We’re going to knock on tens of thousands of doors and make more than 200,000 phone calls. And tomorrow morning, we’re launching our newest TV ad to reach as wide an audience as possible.
To capitalize on our momentum, I need your contribution before this crucial deadline. Now is the time to press every advantage and win this race. The grassroots have been entirely responsible for our success all campaign long. I know I can count on you to act now, before it’s too late.
Yesterday, the New York Times noticed our race “narrowing.” And I can see why.
This week, I’ve been all over Oklahoma, in Yukon, Mustang, and Bartlesville. In all of these towns, one thing is crystal clear: Oklahomans want a U.S. Senator who will work for them. They want someone who will put people before politics and set aside partisan wrangling to get things done.
If we can meet our goal in the next 7 hours, I know we can win this election. I will do everything I can to help find new solutions to put Americans back to work and protect the middle class. It’s my pledge to you, and the core of my campaign.
There are just 7 hours to build our strength for the decisive final days. Do not wait. It will be too late.
