Balancing Act: Security Versus Privacy

You don’t have anything to hide, do you?
There is an old argument that neo-conservatives have been using to defend their stance on invasions of privacy. This stance which was characteristic of the Bush presidency may be continuing to occur, therefore deserves a continued examination. The argument states that if you have got nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. Is this true?
